They should deport her- some people here want to make her a saint, but most think that she's a media-pig. Also, a few things:
a. "I'm strong, I've learned from Rosa Parks -- I'm not going to go to the back of the bus. The law is wrong."
-This is what she said. Now, I have a question for anyone who supports her: Why is the law wrong?
b. Just to clear up some facts about her:
1. Her child is an illegitimate anchor baby.
2. She ratted herself out after she sent a letter "demanding higher wages and better benefits for herself and other Latino workers." (FYI: She was a part-time cleaning lady at O'Hare that got her job by using a fake Social Security number- according to the pro-illegals on here, the illegals are hardworking, never collect citizen benefits, and work for lower wages then citizens do. I hope this blows your false stereotypes.)
c. "If they come for me in this place they'll have to face God. We have video cameras and we'll show how the federals violate the house of God."
- Another thing that she said. If this doesn’t prove that she is trying to get attention from the media and is trying to blackmail the U.S. government, I don’t know what will.
d. “I’m showing my son what it means to fight for your rights, but I know it hurts him too.”
- Yet another thing she said….I have a question for anyone that supports her: As an illegal immigrant, what legal rights does she have?
e. Last but not least: For those of you who are going to say that she is a "poor woman trying to make a life for herself and her son/ devout Methodist-Christian":
Yesterday’s Sun Times showed her in a pew talking on a cell phone while wearing a gaudy ring. Anyway, these are just a few interesting facts and a few opinions that I thought everyone should know. ;)

Um, Rosa Parks WAS a criminal; that was the point. She was breaking the law, but the law was ignorant and unjust. And yes she was an American, because she was born in this country, as are your so-called anchor babies.

If the goal is justice, then you look at what is just, not merely what is legal at the moment. If the goal is to follow laws to the letter without regard to justice, then at least anchor babies are clearly citizens.

If the goal is to strengthen the U.S.A. through deportation (assuming that's possible), then obviously you'd want to deport the people who are the least bright, knowledgeable, industrious, courageous, clear-headed, thoughtful, and able to get along with people. I wonder where she falls on that scale? I wonder where you do?

Oh my God, she's saying what??? By the time Rosa Parks was standing up for her rights, slaves had been freed and blacks were citizens. And no one is telling that woman to sit at the back of anything! She's hiding in a church, that, as far as I have heard, won't commit to harbouring her. What is she thinking? What's next? Is she going to compare herself to Jesus?

I'm not sure if I'd say all pro-illegals are anti-american coz it gets too close to "support Iraq or you hate America", or "communists are anti-american".......... I'll say they are for the most part misguided (but illegals posing as pro-illegals are indeed anti-american)

She shouldn't be granted sanctuary.
She is an Illegal. She broke the law.
Plan and simple adios

And how dare her to compare herself to Rosa Parks.

Of course this flagrant criminal should be deported! Again!

She is an attention seeker, and any comparison to Rosa Parks is nauseous ... I believe the church is now inundated with phone calls from other illegals who want sanctuary there ... good .... let them all pack themselves into that little house ... makes it easier to find them ... :)

Because all the new movements the abortion, the gay rights and the illegals are all comparing thier situation to the civil rights movement for the african amercians in years past.

Rosa Parks did break the current law ( the law was changed but she was convicted of it and was a "crminal of city law"

And yes anyone legal or illegal under our constitution has exactly the same rights under our US constitution, not saying it is right but that is how it works.

Now they should raid the church and take her and ship her back,

Every black in America should be up in arms over this betrayal of all of their hard work cheapened by this outplay

I would say deport her, not meaning im racist but becuase i am republican and a mexican. it is wrong to illegaly cross the border, but you shouldnt deport her child unless he wasnt born here. but i would give her a chance if she is desperate to become an american and finding the help of god.
