I was single for a long time..I did not know what I have been missing till the one I prayed for arrived. The advantage of being single depends on the age..if you are still young..have fun, enjoy being unattached,you can go out with new friends,get to know people.Just remember that all you do must pleasing to God. BUT the disadvantage comes when you reach the early adulthood..that is the time you start to think of your future. It is also true that it can wait and the guy will just arrive. I prayed for someone who will really love me..and the Lord gave him to me when I needed it most. He is more of a bestfriend to me than lover .When you have someone by your side who love you..you will no longer have to think of yourself alone..he will be with you. He will be there for you to listen, to protect, to care,to help, to cry on, to laugh with...and above else to love the Lord. You see, when you have somebody you are so comfortable with..that you can tell anything and everything you like..it is a different feeling. It is like you are facing the world with him. Arguements happen BUT it is normal for two different individuals and in that way..you will teach each other the right things. You will surely learn from each other. And the love inside makes you keep on going. SOmetimes with just a hand holding yours will make you feel so secure and no money can ever buy that.BUT it has tobe prayed for..God will give the right one at the right time. Hope this helps. Being in a relationship opens up so many windows of oppertunity, and you'll never get to know the power of love unless you give it a try. Sure, everyone's afraid of heartbreak, but you have to hurt to understand. Until you hurt, you wont know about love. But its such a beautiful thing if you can find the right person.

Disadvantages:Always lonley(for me at least) No one is there to cheer you up. No one to hold you.
