yee haw.

Shotgun start - you have 144 players two groups start on each hole at the same time. That way everyone will finish at the same time. So if your group is 8B. You will start on hole 8 and your group tees of second behind group 8A. Your last hole will be hole 7.

Scramble - I always joke around and say I play one man scramble. Everyone on the team hits, the team picks which shot they like best. The other players pick up their balls and everyone hits second shot from that spot. Sometimes the event has requirements like each person must hit at least two drives that the team plays. One thing to remember when you play scramble is once the ball goes in the hole the hole is over. That means if your the first person to put for a 3 and you end up an inch away from the hole. You must mark it, because if you putt it out the hole is over with a score of 4.

I Shotgun start is a way to start a tournament. You have tee times which has one groupstarting every seven minutes or a shotgun where everyone starts at the same time. The shotgun start has two groups starting on every hole. You could be 7B. That means your the second group to tee off on hole 7. Hole 7 will be your first hole and hole six your last hole.

scramble is one of the most common tournament that allow all players to have fun. Everyone hits, you decide which shot you like the best. The other players pick up thier balls and everyone hits from that spot. You take the best shot each time until finished. Sometimes they have requirements that each team must play two drives of each players.

A way to start a tournament in which all groups of players tee off simultaneously from different holes. If there are 18 groups of foursomes in a tournament, then each hole on the course will serve as the starting hole for a different group. Group A would start from No. 1, Group B from No. 2, and so on, and each group would begin play at the same time. A shotgun start allows for a tournament to be completed in the time it normally takes one group to finish 18 holes.

In a scramble, each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed.
