i just told a girl that i like her, and she responded by saying that she doesn't feel like she should be in a relationship right now. do you all think that that's what she really means? or is she just trying to tell me that she's really not interested?

it means shes not emotionally ready yet
like going to the bathroom, men are usually faster at going into relationships than women. it takes them a while.
give her time, she'll warm up

Well it really depends, if she just broke up with her boyfriend or her boyfriend broke up with her recently and she still kind of have feelings for him, "i dont want to be in a relationship" means she doesn't want to be in a relationship. haha
but if not, sometimes girls just want to stay single, not necessarily indicating that she's not interested

It can mean both, but if she didnt like you then she probably would of just came out and said she wasent interestead. Maybe she not ready like she said, maybe she has to sort out what she wants in life, either career, studies, etc. If she not interestead dnt wait for her , or else u be heart broken. Goodluck

I can not speak for a young girl but normally when someone says that it mean they are not able to date or be with someone because she has other things going on in her life.

It could be that she is not ready for an steady relationship with you yet but give it time and you may end up going out eventually.
