"The good feeling one gets from eating chocolate, smiling, laughing, sunbathing, being massaged, meditating, singing, listening to one's favorite music, or having an orgasm is partially attributed to the release of endorphins. [3]"
Check the article.
You're just low. Cycles of crying jags happen sometimes, without reason. If you know why you're blue, talk to a friend or counselor. If you honestly don't know what's up, it may be that your chemicals are out of whack. I spent a year in mild postpartum depression without even realizing it. The neat thing is, you can reverse it NATURALLY. You don't need a happy pill. They have recently discovered that smiling releases endorphins (the natural happy chemical) and those endorphins stick around awhile. Not only that, but it doesn't have to be a real smile. If you're too blue to laugh, giggle, or truly smile, then put on a fake smile (in the privacy of your own home - don't go around looking like Ronald McDonald or folks might think you've got a screw loose). Simply flexing the muscles it takes to smile tricks the brain into releasing endorphins, and if you repeat this exercise often enough during the day, you'll feel better in no time.

Ah sweetheart..... first of all have you had a good physical from your family physician lately? I'd suggest you do that first , to rule out any physical problems and he might be able to help you with the hormonal ones too.
He also might be able to recommend a good mental health program? Are you in school? High School? University or college? The health Services department might be able to help you as well.
Sometimes we cry more if we 're not getting enough sleep or if there's something deep down inside we're not being authentic about and dealing with.
Seek some help ok? And let us know how things progress.
Good luck luv.

It seems like you may be going through either a hormone change or imbalance or maybe stress or depression. If you cry out the blue and don't know why it does seem mental. (Not you being crazy, but brain related). Does this happen when you are mostly alone? How about for the next week you keep a journal about when it happens and what your thoughts are at that time? That way you can show it to your doctor and he can then verify the condition.

Hey,
Don't stress over it. Stressing is only going to make it worse. Not to say there is anything wrong. Your friend is right, it is just hormones. I can remember being like that too. I would be all talkative and laughing, and then suddenly I wouldn't care to be around anyone. I would walk away and just start to cry. It's natural and all part of growing up.

You need to talk with someone. You're depressed. Go to a church leader, or a trusted friend or relative- or someone like THAT- to find out what's going on inside of you. It's nothing to be ashamed of; we ALL have issues of some kind or other to deal with. The mistake- would be for you to do nothing. Good luck- & I hope you get help & feel better- soon. :)

yah sounds hormonal to me
I still do that on occasion. Cry for no reason, and anything can trigger it. No worries it wont last long.
It usually happens around our monthly cycles. Perfectly normal. It sucks tho

Honey, I don't know how old you are, but your friend is right, hormones can do strange things to a woman....keep a log of when this happens...is it that time? are you under alot of stress??has something traumatic happened recently? and go see your Dr. There are all kinds of treatments out there, from homeopathic, to prescription drugs....and sometimes just a sympathetic ear....

Are u pregnant? That could be one of the reasons that's if your not depressed or anything. But if your depressed then you need to seek help from your friends or family, or someone you trust very well.

I would find someone to talk to. Crying for no reason is not healthy. Maybe call a crisis line who can direct you to a counselor.
