Since they dont let you respond to your own questions, I thought I'd post another one.

Yes, I live in Vegas, but that's against my own will. I hate this place. I hate partying, drinking, clubs, bars. My boyfriend is the same way. His dad was an alcoholic and he despises him.

I have a job, it does offer maternity leave, as some of my coworkers have left on it. However I do NOT plan to stay at this job for very much longer. My boyfriend also works and is getting paid quite a bit. He works with computer/game design, and if you look at the statistics they get paid A LOT. He won't flop out either, he's VERY good at it, top of DeVry right now. And me being 18, I make a lot.

I don't do much outside work, so "taking up my time" won't do much lol. I have PLENTY of time for a baby. We don't live together YET, we are looking at apartments, and we think we might have found one. It's made for younger people, only $450 a month. And it's not some run-down POS either.

Lol, I don't plan on staying here much longer either. We wanna move to San Francisco, he grew up there.

I'm not trying to convince myself. As I said before, I act upon other people's judgement. That's jus the way I am

If your so confident in yourself, and your b/f's ability to have this child and raise it properly then why all the questions? Sounds to me like you are trying to convince yourself more than you are trying to convince the rest of us. Hopefully you have the support of your parents! Either way I wish you all the luck in the world. I had my daughter when I was 17, I'm now 32 and she's 14. We both turned out just fine. You can do this!

Love is great isn't it? It's even better when you can give that precious little baby two parents that are married and ready to take care of him or her for the next 18 years. There is no doubt in my mind that you can do it. You come across mature and responsible. Please, keep in mind that male and females mature at different times. Females before male. Way before the male in most cases including mine. I do hope you will weigh all the pro's and con's before trying for a baby right now. I had my first at the age of 20. I thought we were ready, having been married for 1 year and everything was going great. When my baby girl was 6 months old my perfect marriage starting falling apart. I hung in there, even having a second baby girl, 4 years later. It was so very difficult. Looking back, I don't see how we made it. We were married 28 years this past June. It took about 16 years before we finally worked out all the kinks. But we did it and I thank God everyday for my husband and two daughters. It still gets rough from time to time, but nothing we can't handle together.... Good luck and may God be with you. :)

If you don't like it here move. I have lived in Las Vegas for 26 years. There is far more here than partying and drinking. I have helped raise 6 kids in this town and all have turned out great with the expect ion of the one who moved to L.A.. He joined a gang and got shot a year ago.. When he lived here he went to school and church. He went bad after moving.

If you are so confident about it, go for it. You ask for opinions, well you got them. Obviously most people think people should be married first. I understand you don't party or whatever, that's great. I got married at 19 and had my first baby at 22. I'm fine with it, you just have to grow up so much, I didn't realize how much growing up I had to do with a baby.

Well, you may not be able to respond to your own question but you can add as many details as you want. Chances are the people who responded to your first question will probably not see this question. The add details option on all the way to the right on the new action bar.
