I pick on them constantly. But it's like the drug wars. Do you go after the king-pin? No, someone will take his place. All you do is create a momentary power vacuum. Do you clean up the junkies and jail the low-level pushers? Yep. No junkies, no sales. Make it hard on the pushers to operate and costs go up. No one wants an unprofitable business. Sure, you take a king-pin down every now and again. You work up the information for a great case tho........ you don't want him back on the streets tomorrow.
Same with illegals.....
If we lessen the flow of illegals into the country, the companies will either outsource or hire legally-- they'll have to. Sure, we complain about the companies, we fine them, we buy from other companies that don't hire illegals..... but another company will unless it is made wholly unprofitable. It's only truly unprofitable if there are not enough workers to justify flaunting the laws.
And am I the only one that sees a tighter Border also helping us fight Human Trafficking?

We have to go after them. Right now it is hard to enforce against the 'real' employers because they hire through contractors so they aren't the ones responsible for or 'knowing' employees are illegal. They need to get that database up and running so we can really go after them. I think that is a huge point and I saw that the House Bill which makes 'should have known' a crime with regard to helping an illegal requires actual knowledge that a multiple number of employees are illegal (I think 8) before going after the employer. It also has I think an 8 year delay to get the database up and running.
That doesn't work.

"Is your self esteem so low that you need to pick on the weak? Why don't you pick on the rich, and powerful? Scared?"
Hmm... let's think this through, shall we?
If i'm rich and I hire rich people, I'll be poor. And since everyone else is hiring rich people, I won't be hired. Bright idea.
If i'm rich and I hire poor people, I'll still be rich and the poor will be richer than they were to begin with. Where's the bad in this part again...?
Your follow up questions have little to do with your original question. Try asking again.

The employers should be fined and imprisoned for hiring illegals. Knowingly hiring illegals is treasonous.

Best way to send any message is to stop shopping at these places it will matter, when sales are down they will take action. We all have to do our part. I just don't shop at these places where illegals are known to work and be.

Oh we do, we do .... personally I would hold them equally responsible with the illegals .... I think we should punish both ... the employers with stiff fines and/or jail sentences ... the illegals with deportation ..........

Illegals and Mexico are the biggest blame. Don't try to blame us. Them first.
