i went to a bridal shower and they played games but it was totally boring and no one was really into it but she gets an a for effort. I'm with the other girl i hate bridal showers i find them boring. i am hoping that for my bridal shower they can just do it in the backyard for the summer (in getting married next Oct) with hamburgers and a radio.

OK i thought of one thing she did so that was kinda cool. she made a cake and then put these charms on a string and put them in the cake and then had all the bridesmaids pull out a string and each charm symbolized something. and then you can put the charm on a necklace.also she brought all this art supplies and had us each table make the brides bouquet and then the bride picked the one she liked the best to be hers for the rehearsal dinner.

The funniest game I ever played at a shower entertained everyone.

You take a pair of panty hose and but a potato in one foot, then you tie the other leg around your waste with the leg with the potato in it hanging down your front between your lets.

You have a start line and a finish line and you have to push another potato across the finish line by swinging the panty hose that's hanging between your legs and tapping the potato in the foot against the potato on the floor until you get it across the finish line. The person that gets it across the line in the shortest period of time is the winner.

You can make it a team game and have half the team at one end and the other half at the other end. The first person has to get the potato across the line and pass the panty hose to the first person at the other end and so on until each person on the team has a turn. The team that finishes first wins.

This game creates a lot of laughs especially if you have a few jokers in the group.

At my own wedding, the hostesses divided everyone up into groups and gave them each a bag of suppliesto make a bouquet. There was a time limit. The hostesses were the judges and with a secret ballot, chose a winner. I carried that bouquet at the rehearsal. Another fun and goofy thing to do is to have a wedding dress contest. Form groups and give each group a roll of toilet paper and a foot of scotch tape, also give them a time limit. one thing that's kinda fun is to have the bride to be followed around and eaves drop on her conversations for a bit. Write down the "juicy" or "erotic" sounding things she says and then later, either share the list with the whole group saying these are things she will say on her wedding night, or pull the things out of a hat on strips of paper and have each guest think of how the bride would say each thing. Whatever you do, have fun!

I've got a couple games. One game is where you have everyone who comes to the shower put a diaper pin on their shirt when they walk in. From that point on, no one is allowed to say "baby". Whoever catches you saying the "b" word gets your pin, and whoever has the most pins at the end of the shower wins a prize. Also, you can do a mommy to be trivia game where you ask 20 questions about the mom (where did she go to school, what is the babies name to be, how did she find out she was pregnant, etc) and whoever answers the most wins. hope those help!

There is a game i dont think i even know the name but what you do is you get a baby bottle's nipple and put in on a wine bottle or what ever the bride likes to drink and then during the course of the shower she has to drink as much of it as possible and then you spin her around in a circle and tell her to go knock on a neighbours door and tell them she loves the groom what ever his name is.

then there is one where you get words that all refer to weddings mix the letters up put them on small pieces of paper and in an envelope pass them around ad everyone has to unscramble their words for points the person who wins gets a prize

there is another one where you separate into two groups and choose one person to be the bride, you have to make a wedding dress out of nothing but toilet paper. we did this once in a bridal shower and from a distance you could never tell it was toilet paper. we did the head piece and vail, everything was made out of toilet paper

I know this sounds funny, but play the toilet paper game. You have teams girls divided evenly. Give each team a roll of toilet paper with at least ten paper clips and tell them that they half to design a wedding dress for the bride. Give them a time limit and which ever dress your bride likes that's the team that gets the prize.
