To exercise to lose 8kg, you would have to do LOTS and LOTS of exercises.

I would suggest that you actually do some exercises and change your diet a little.

You don't really have to starve yourself to death. Just:
- Take fruits for breakfast
- Eat more fruits/vegetables
- Eat less meat, seafood and eggs during lunch and dinner
- Cut out carbohydrates or take less of it
- Drink more water
- No solid foods after 8pm

Based on my conservative estimate, you should be able to lose about 2-3 kg in a month if you follow this strictly.

With the additional help of some health foods called HUNZA VPlus and Fibre Plus, my dad lost 8kg within 2 months...

Good luck!
Good luck!

Starvation diets are not a good way to lose weight; they usually lead to constant fatigue and often bingeing. I would suggest a diet recommended from your doctor, or the well known South Beach Diet. I tried it for about 4 years, and I have lost all of my excessive weight and kept it off for good from that diet plan. South Beach does anything but allow you to starve. It comes complete with menus that you can make or buy that will satisfy your appetite with little calories. Also South Beach makes their own products, including pre-made breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks, and desserts. There are also products recommended from South Beach that you can also allow in your diet.

With exercises, I would say that a good mixture of cardio, strength training, and yoga are good through out the week. Make yourself a 7-day schedule on what aerobic you'll do and how much of it each day. With a good, satisfying diet and plenty of exercise, you'll lose weight in no time and lose it for good!

A LOT of people ask me how I stay in shape. You don't need to starve yourself to lose weight. You can still eat the foods you like, but just limit them. It is also a MUST to exercise. I think running and riding bikes are the best methods.. you might not enjoy it, but trust me, you'll loose A LOT of weight if you do it everyday. Make sure you drink of lots of water and no soda, caffine, etc. Doing exercises at home usually won't do the trick.. they just tone your muscles but you won't see them unless you loose the fat. You need to get out and run, play a sport, or walk around the mall with your friend. It may be frustrating the first few days, but make sure you stick to it though, get a couple of friends to exercise with you. Good luck to you!

The best way to lose weight is the natural way: 2000 cals./day (focus on proteins, especially from vegetables and fruits), running (stationary) for 30 minutes daily (3-4 times per week), weight lifting, yoga exercises, and most importantly, drink 8 glasses of distilled water with enhanced mineral complex called xtreme x2o, natural and organic, coral calcium with 70 trace minerals. Xtreme X2O when dissolved in water turns the solution in highly alkaline state (pH=9.9). Let me explain why this is so important. An acid pH (less than 7.0) has considerable influence over the majority of weight problems including obesity. It seems that a habitually acid pH can directly cause immediate weight gain. Here's what happens when a system is too acid. A condition known as Insulin Sensitivity or Syndrome X results, which forces too much insulin to be produced, and the body is flooded with insulin so that it won't waste any calories, it diligently converts every calorie it can into fat.

It is thought that an acid pH immediately signals the powerful genetic response to an impending famine, directly interacting with the all important and very sensitive, Insulin- Glucagons Axis. This makes the body produce more insulin than usual, and in turn, produce more fat and store it. In general, the more insulin is available to the body, the higher the probability that fat will be produced and stored, rather than used and burned as energy.

Thus, an acid pH will probably alert the genetic response to famine, directing more insulin to be produced and storing more fat than usual. Conversely, a healthy, slightly alkaline pH, will be more likely to yield normal fat burning metabolic activity, making no demands on the body to overly produce insulin and make fat, allowing fat-weight to be burned and naturally lost. And, with a healthy pH, there's less likely to be any yo-yo effect, or rebounding from a diet with additional weight gain. As long as nutritional stores are maintained, a healthy, slightly alkaline pH allows fat to burn normally for energy, rather than being hoarded under the mistaken biochemical belief of an impending famine.
You may ask, why not drink just water? The answer is: When you drink plain water, lots of it, your body does not get the critical minerals it needs to balance its pH (in short, to help transform your body to an alkaline state).
If you would like to know what your body's pH is, whether you are alkaline or acidic, let me know. For more info, visit:

You could try a high protein low carb diet. Meat, fish, chicken & turkey, cheese & eggs. Add some fruits & veggies. All of these things in moderation. Drink lots and lots of water. No sugar, no flour.

Exercise to burn more calories than what you eat.

Start a walking program. 15 minutes every day then build up to 30.

weight loss tips

Today there is too much information available on losing weight that has become more confusing and sometimes difficult to follow. It’s actually very easy to lose weight if you follow my weight loss tips.

* Be in right frame of mind
Before you can start any diet program you need to be in the right frame of mind. If you do not feel good about yourself you probably will not want to choose healthy foods. You cannot expect the act of going on a diet to make you feel better about yourself. The only way you can choose to eat a healthy diet to lose weight is if you have a positive self-image.

* Eat whole food
Top weight loss tips
Eat whole foods that are as natural as possible. When you eat whole foods that are full of nutrients your body will know how much to eat and how much not to eat. You do not have to count calories because your body is a wonderful machine.

* Eat fresh fruit
Eat at least two servings of fresh fruit every day. Choose whatever type of fruit is in season.

* Drink enough water
Drink the best weight loss supplement known to man, water. Most people do not know the difference from being hungry for food or thirsty for water. A great deal of times people eat when they should drink. Most likely you will not feel as hungry if you are getting enough water. You will be satisfying the thirst, which is confused for hunger. Water also helps you digest food better. Drinking water before you eat will help fill you up.

* Always chew your food
Always chew your food well. Chewing your food well will ensure that you get the most nutrients out of your food. Getting the most nutrients will satisfy your body therefore you will eat less. Another benefit of chewing well is that it helps aid in digestion.

* Take small meals
Eat small, frequent meals in a day. Large meals tax your digestion system, making it work harder. Taking too much time in between meals makes you hungrier for the next meal.

* Include protein at meal
Include good sources of protein at meal, chicken, fish, legumes, peanut, cottage cheese, eggs or yogurt.

* Shut off TV while eating
Shut off the TV whenever you eat – that includes meals and snacks. Studies show that we automatically eat larger portions when we snack in front of the tube, and typically those foods are high in fat and sugar, which means excess calories!

* Increase your physical activity
Increase your physical activity. Most people are over weight because of a lack of physical activity. Start walking more, bicycling, walks your dog for longer periods of time, swim, dance and leave the car at home when you can. It’s important that you choose a physical activity that you enjoy because you’ll stick with it.

Eat a healthy diet, wholgrain cereal for breakfast, salad, jacket potatoes with tuna, sweetcorn, baked beans , coleslaw etc for filling, salad sandwich, or something like that for lunch. For dinner have lean meat, and fish with pasta, rice or potatoes, lots of vegatables to fill you up. For snacks have fruit. Allow yourself the occasional chocolate bar, packet of crisps, cake and biscuits too, occasionally is okay. take up an exercise you enjoy. If you play a sport you don't even realise you are exercising.

This also tells about best exercises also. Diets do not work. 99% of people gain the weight back. Here is how it works. No one teaches the animal what to eat and what not to eat. He knows instinctively what to eat. Humans also have the same instinct. The way it works is just eat whatever tastes good and that will be healthy for you and non-fattening. That is why a baby tastes everything. So again whatever tastes good, is good for you. This is why you will spit out spoiled milk.

But wait!!! Man has the technology to create rat poison. It tastes like healthy food (good taste) but kills the rat. So man has done that to you. Note- any food unaltered by man (uncooked) that tastes good, is good for you. So if you are stranded in the woods, that is how you know what to eat (cooking changes that). So man has created fake fruit. It tastes like fruit that exists in nature but it is terrrible for health, addictive and fattening called sweets.

So it is natural to like real sweets called fruit, like a baby does, but they have fooled you just like the rat. But they do not want to kill you. They want you to become obese so you will buy lots of their foods. This is called GOOD BUSINESS. Remember the above (not on site) and see site below to re-learn how to eat so you can be thin and fit for life.
