I would think that my spouse might be too close to the situation to make a rational decision in case of an emergency (heaven forbid).
I *need* to draft a medical power of attorney appointing my sister and husband as joint attorneys in fact so that neither can act without consent of the other.

My spouse absolutely. He's my best friend and I wouldn't trust another person with those decisions but him.

My mother---she decided to bring me in this world, surely she could decide to take me out. That, plus she's been in the medical field for thirty years, and would have a clear understanding of my treatment measures and prognosis.

of course i would ask a doctor to check up my health.....
well at least if i suppose have no other way then i like to be decided for the last time by another person , so she would not have any guilty feeling
