Because they are Cuban. We do not want to enlarge the coffers of Senor Castro.
But they sure taste nice. Best cigars in the world.

Because when John Kennedy was the US president the Cuban president Fidel Castro made a deal with the Russians to put nuclear missles in Cuba aimed at the USA.
JFK forced the Russians to back down but he had to promise that America would never invade Cuba.
Ever since those days no Cubans or Cuban products are allowed to enter the US and no Americans or American products are allowed to go to Cuba.

Cuban cigars are not illegal. It is just that cigars made in Cuba, or any other products for that matter, made in Cuba, are embargoed by the United States.
Cuban cigars made in Florida are not illegal.

Because people don't want a good cigar.
But we stoped trade years ago with cuba, but cuba still gets all sorts of american goods, thought he black market and some of thier cigars get into the US the same way.

In the US they are illegal because of trade embargos. In Mexico they're just carzy profitable.

trade embargo. basically we dont openly trade goods with cuba because theyt are communist.
