i like you tofu jesus, but why is sex a sin? do you mean sex without love is a sin? or sex without reproduction is a sin? or irresponsible and hurtful sex is a sin? oh, and i guess people who are not tofu jesus can comment as well. it appears to me that tofu jesus is an advocate of platonic love. but... did plato have sex??

Sorry it took so long to respond brother. Sex is a sin because it blurrs the mind of God's image. It is a lust for world things, as is materialism.

Sex is not a sin - so let us get that straight. First off the person you have sex with is the one you become one flesh with - essentially marry and you are now a couple in the kingdom of heaven. Satan says otherwise. Satan would say it is good to have sex with as many people as you want - as a matter of fact in Satans eyes it is all about your pleasure and not to please God at all.
So in short God lets you destroy yourself and other people by using them with this weapon called sex and sexual relations that will leave you cold and empty.

Thou shalt not commit adultery. Sex outside marriage is wrong for reasons listed by others... disease, unwanted pregnancy, etc. Sex as part of marriage is a wonderful gift from God - read the song of songs....
