A true Christian is one who when they hear the Lord Jesus knocking on their hearts door, they answer the call and invite Him into their life, they may feel bad when they hear the Lord knocking on their hearts door because they know they are a sinner, (We are all sinners,) So we shouldn't be afraid that God will not accept us and try to hide from Him as that is why Jesus died for us, so we would know His wonderful love For us and so that we could receive The Holy Spirit to help us and guide us in His ways. They need to ask forgiveness and repent of their sins,(turn from them) and be baptised and they will be born again. They will then have The Holy Spirit, as a teacher , Helper, Comforter Guide or what ever else they need as He will supply our every need if we truly believe and pray for things according to His will. Mark 16-16, says "He who believes and is baptised will be saved: but he who does not believe will be condemned."

A true Christian studies the bible, not just read it like a story.
A true Christian seeks wisdom and understanding from God in the study.

A true Christian tries to understand what Christ was saying not just the words that he said.

A true christian seeks the meat of the word even if it condemns him, for the truth no mater how bad is very important.

A true christian want to know what the word says not what has been taught for years.

A true christian is generally hated the most, for they learn the truth.

Walking the walk and talking the talk. If you want to go further than that - then you must humble yourself before God and ask for your forgiveness with a heart of forgiveness. You have to mean what you say and do what you mean.

True Christians will by known by their love. We shall show fruit, meaning we should be working on love, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, self-control, goodness and mercy. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior others should slowly see changes happening in our lives as we push out sinful acts and strive to live holy lives.

James 2:18But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds."
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.

19You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

20You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless[d]? 21Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. 23And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,"[e] and he was called God's friend. 24You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by

Different for different people.
For me it was hard.
Much suffering.
Much pain.
Much attacks and a few other things that are too scary to discuss.
As a hint, there are other beings amongst us that are beyond the regular perception.
