i was wondering how many crunches i should do a day to lose fat

You could do a million crunches a day and not lose the fat. To lose fat you have to do cardio, you have to sweat at least 30 minutes, 3 times a week. The crunches will sculpt your abs once you have burned off the fat.

I'm not sure what crunches are (I dont speak american slang), but if you mean sit-ups, then no need to kill yourself. Just be consistant and do them every day. Try 20 in the morning, 20 at lunch, 20 after supper and 20 before you go to bed. Also you dont have to do them lightning fast. Just be consistant.

Its not up to us, its up to how much your body can actually handle. Theres no point in us saying 100 when you can only do 20. Push your body to your own limit and start from there, then the next day increase it and keep doing this.

I agree with the other person. To loose tummy fat, you gotta do cardio. Get on a treadmill or an elliptical and do intervals. I highly recommend ellipticals. They're easier on your joints.

Its not how many you can do, its how many can do properly that helps. I suggest doing as many properly for 20 min. or so youll get better and better and be able to do more and more.
