I don't believe they stop to THINK at all!!!! All they're concerned about, are their illegal boyfriends/husbands. I don't think they REALIZE the HARM that is being done to this country by the illegals!!!!

This is the same question people asked 150 years ago when immigrants from Ireland, Germany and Italy flooded US shores. Many native US citizens were afraid that they were going to lose the country, that the US would become like a foreign land and be forced to give up its greatness in the face of an overwhelming number of immigrants. And you know what happened? Nothing really, except that the immigrant assimilated into US society, and people eventually became more accepting of Italians, Germans and Irish. Oh, and our country grew in power and wealth. How do you know that, even if the border between the US and Mexico were opened, we wouldn't get the same results?
I think that by predicting the doom of the US at the hands of floods of immigrants, you underestimate the power and resources that the US has. You also have fallen for someones hate-mongering xenophobic theories because of your lack of knowledge of the mid-1800's, a critical time in US history. I'm against illegal immigration and even I can see how wrong you are.

I seriously doubt they think about what the U.S would be like in 10 years... Considering where I live (in a border state) you already have to press 1 for Spanish and 2 for English, I'll bet in 10 years everything will be Spanish (like it already isn't now).
People seriously need to stop and consider the damage that Illegal Immigration is doing to this country.

Well that's what nobody says there's like 2 billion poor people on the planet so by these peoples way of thinking we should bring them all here and that will change things. In reality all it will do is turn us into a third world wasteland, just like what they left behind, then what?, will they go to China and turn that into a wasteland (more than it's already going to be by way of it's already bloated population) The same for India or where ever, It's just delaying having to deal with the; I would say unsustainable but that's no where's near strong enough a term, maybe suicidal is a better term, population increases especially in areas that can in no way support them.

10 years ago people used to ask themselves same question. Has the US become a 3rd World country today.
Britain a small island (smaller than the state of New York) has had a wave of immigrants for ages, it is still a powerful economic country in Europe...
US would grow stonger, Richer and more diverse in 10 years, Why do you believe only immigration would affect the US economy? Why Cant you ask what US will be like in 10 years if terrorist continue to make attempts to attack you? or How will it be if America continues to spend billions of taxpayers dollars fighting the middle east?
Poor question

The U.S. is already headed that direction. If the Mexicans board the sinking ship, it's not going to have much of an effect on the situation.

Seal is right ... it's a much wider issue than somebody's illegal lover or husband ... which seems to be why the pro illegals are so rabidly up in arms ... with no logical reason to back it up ...

The morons dont pause and think about future life. They think about what is politically correct. And what might give the congressmen more votes, if their district can get more people.
