I have had a type of seizure problem for about 3 and a half years. The medications they put me on give me horrible side-affects such as severe anxiety and depression and even internal problems such as liver/kidneys. I've gotten over the whole seizure thing, but my meds give such uncontrollable depression. One day I'm fine, the next I'm running from home in the middle of the night to quiet the echoes of voices I've once heard while on another seizure medication. I know I'm not the only one. Another person tried to kill herself on my medication. She's in the hospital now for hearing voices too. My ex and I are dating other people which between how great my new girl is and the googlie-eyes i recieve from my ex who must not realize what she's doing, I am constantly torn. Whatever problems to my liver/kidneys drain my energy on top of me not getting enough sleep. And now my friend is as thin as a pole and is going into surgery for problems I can't even keep up with. I worry about her.

I understand, I've been there. Sounds like the same med. I was on. There is a vitamin therapy that helps. Contact me and I'll give it to you. There are support groups that help when you're depressed, stressed and need to vent.

Just talking and letting out those frustrations is the best form of therapy and or medicine...I know you have a lot going on right now and it seems when one thing goes wrong several others follow..My best advice is Trust in GOD and know that he would never put you in a situation that you could not handle. Nobody said it wasn't going to be hard but take one day at a time and try not to focus so much on the bad but rather the good that is going on..Even if at times it may seem like there isn't any. I will pray for you as well as your friend. I wish you the best and hope that your life and health will continue to improve. God Bless You!
PS: if you need to vent I'm hear to read..

I'm sorry to hear that you are having these problems, but you should call the Dr. that gave you the medication. There are things that you can take to counter act the side effects of the meds. You have to call your Dr's office tomorrow and let him/her know whats going on with you. Just because someone tried to commit suicide while taking the med doesn't mean that you will.....Please be positive and strong because there is hope for you. Promise me that you will call your Dr. tomorrow morning to get medication changed or get on an anti depressive/ anti anxiety medication. Your Dr. can help you.

well there is so much going on in your physical and mental health right now and I understand that you are stressed out. You definatly need to get yourself sorted out before you start worring about other people in your life. See if you can get a second opinion with regards to your medication tell them that you are getting serious side effects and see if there are other possible medications or treatments you can take for your condition. Take care of yourself and if you need someone to talk to you can message me I have a counselling degree.

wow what a bag is issues; this is wayyy too much for the intenret; you have issues on this page that (some ) are about you, and most are not- you must do what you cna about what only pertains to YOU, and not what pertains to others. your ex, whom may or may not be an ex, we cant tell... is out of your control, youre racked about this person and that, the bean pole person going into surgery is not under your control either, i guess youre not even in your control; you might consider going to a very intesive doctor, in house thing, you need something very much more inteisnse than we can give you on this type of venue. please, please go to ahospital and please check into a hosptial for mental issues. do you have insurance, it sounds like have some.

You didn't say which medication you are taking. Can you switch to a different one? Are you seizure-free forever or just under control thanks to the medication? Kidney and liver problems? Depression and hallucinations? Please ask your neurologist again is there is an alternative drug for you. I hope it all works out for you!
