Common sense ideas tend to relate to events within human experience, and thus commensurate with human scale.
There are two general meanings to the term "common sense" in philosophy. One is a sense that is common to the others, and the other meaning is a sense of things that is common to humanity.
This was a commonsense statement in 1776 "It is ridiculous and against natural law for an island to rule a continent." Another--Society represents all that is good about humanity, government represents all that is bad about it.
Can those common sense statement be completly true?
That which is common sense to Donald Trump is no all always common sense to a homeless person. Common sense to a Preacher is not always common sense to a sinner. Common sense to the middle class is not common sense to the uper class. Common sense to a farmer is not common sense to a construction worker. My idea of common sense may not match what you believe it to be.
What then is common sense? It may well be in the eye of the boholder. From your picture, I see a very lovely, carring, loving, gentel lady. Those attributes are important to survive. You my dear will survive.
You have a good day

wow what a good question but you know what i have found common sense is only observed when speaking of one self meaning others may not consider what you claim common sense being and that is so frustrating especially when you witness someone doing something very idiotic and spontanous! not thinking!
now i dont know if it could be taught you will think it comes with the will to suvive naturally.

Common sense is a necessity, and either you have it or you don't. I know people with genius IQ's that don't have sense enough to tuck in their shirt or wipe the toothpaste off their faces. I also know people who aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer, yet they could work their way out of any difficult situation, just by sheer common sense. Brains are hardwired differently for different people.

It helps but is not a necessity. Unfortunately, it can't be taught.
