there's this guy that I know I shouldn't love him or like him or whatever it is. I know it tears me apart to be around him and I hate seeing the way he really is. How can I just get over all this and move on so I can finally find someone who's worth it? even though it doesn't seem like that will ever happen=(

If you are ready to move on, then keep in mind that where your head goes, your body will follow.

Here's a way to give your head the strength to cause your body to move on. Much like you once imagined that Santa Claus was real, imagine for a moment that reincarnation is real. And further imagine that reincarnation exists to teach people a lesson or two in life. For example, if in an earlier life, you did people wrong (in whatever way), you are doomed to return in another life to suffer the same way you made others suffer (so that you'll understand in this life, the error of your ways in an earlier life). I'm not asking you to truly believe this; just to realize that it could be true. It tends to flow with the ideas of the Golden Rule, Doing Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You, and What Goes Around Comes Around, etc. The more you think about this, the more you start to believe that reincarnation could be true, and are tempted to test the concept in a minor way.

Here's the test: With that in your mind, imagine that this guy who you recognize as bad news for you, but who also has a string on your heart, is really a duplicate of who you were in an earlier life. And in this life he's treating you just like you treated other people in your past life (the past life where you were like him). His purpose is to hopefully teach you in this life how much you hurt others in your past life by making you experience the pain you caused them back then.

If you can even remotely accept that this is possible, then you can proclaim that if this is really the case, then you've learned your lesson, and now want to move on to the next step (which you hope includes happiness).

With that said, prepare to move on honey. And a major step to moving on, is avoiding this guy at all costs. If you stay around him, the message you will send is that you haven't learned your lesson yet, and need more pain before finally figuring it out and wanting to move on.

What are you waiting for? Prepare to move on!

PS: Don't let me find out you're still hanging around this guy. He's the mesenger from Hell. Move on, find yourself a real Angel of a guy, and live happily ever after.

Take it one day at a time, Don't go and see him avoid being around him... i know it's hard but he is not worth your tears, move on and be patient you will find someone who loves you as much as you love them one day...
