Maybe hes afraid of what his friends will think. Guys do this all the time. Listen not all guys are gonna ask you out at the exact time you want. some times it takes a few months. that happened to me.

Well seems to me, if you two want to get together, you will have to do the asking. Or at least, get him to ask you out.
Just make it simple, ask him about some movie, that is playing near by, and ask if he's seen it yet. If he hasn't, then suggest you see it together, as you have been dying to see it yourself.

then tell him if he doesnt ask you out or make a move, you're going to find someone else. or get someone else to tell him that. he'll speed things up then, i promise. lol.
