HA ! That person deleted the question so I had no clue what it was but probably have an idea. The same questions are always asked in this section.
lol. You're so funny . Would you like a tissue for your issue ? I didn't read but did any "loving" Christians offer you one ? I guess it takes a moral Atheist to give you a tissue.

There's a few different answers to your question. One is that it's an element of the Christian faith, that everyone is immoral. The squeaky hinge gets the grease. Saying there's no God sets you up to get the grease, as being the most needful target. Second of all it's interesting that you stereotype while complaining about it. Look at your own camp for a minute on the questions page, a lot of your camps answers are immoral, cruel, and unloving. (I recognize that this is true for my camp is well but I do think to a lesser degree.) We could gripe that you all think we couldn't count to twenty with our shoes on. Or that we're irrational and close minded, for not thinking just like you.

People who proclaim themselves as Christians may stereotype Atheists as immoral, cruel and unloving, but.....
That is not so.
All people, Christian and those who are otherwise, all sin and fall short of the glory of God. All of us are imperfect. All of us are immoral, cruel and unloving at one time or another.
The difference is this:
Christians hold themselves up to a higher standard and level of responsibility for their outward and inward behavior, thoughts words and deeds. Christians know that they have to stand before God and answer to all their failings.
Atheists know of no accounting; hold responsibilities of what they do to just themselves or society's measurements. Atheists "swear there is no Heaven, but they pray there ain't no hell" (paraphrasing Three Dog Night).
What will you be facing when that tunnel of light greets you?

Not all christians steroetype that way. People are also immoral, cruel and unloving, but say they are christian too.You do not have to be an atheist to have the characterists which you say are assigned to them. Some of the most 'christian' people I have met are also very cruel people. A truly christain person would not judge someone to be immoral, cruel and loving because they did not believe in God. They would pray for that person.

I don't know where atheists get the idea that "all" Christians think poorly of them. I don't think of them at all. I don't think of Buddhists or Mormons either. Do you think we sit around all day thinking "how can I make them feel awful today?" That is not the case.
Now if an atheist ask a question I will answer from my honest opinion. Everyone has to make their own choices in life. I believe my way is right, but so do you.
My honest opinion of an atheist is that they will not get to spend eternity with Jesus. I think this is sad. My honest opinion is NOT that they are all cruel or unloving.

I am Christian and i dont have a problem with atheists or any other culture or religion. I may not agree with what they beleive but thats their choice, not mine. As far as personality goes it doesnt always depend on your religion. i know people that say they are christians but ive never heard a word about the Lord come out of their mouth, but i have heard plenty of crude and dirty language coming from them. most christians today just simply go to church and say "look at me" im a christian. there are many religions and i think a person should not be judged or looked down upon because of thier religion.

Well, I suppose it depends on the Christian and their specific flavor of belief, but overall I would say it's because they take it as a conceit that morality comes from the divine, meaning good behavior comes from and is inspired by a sky god. We atheists, believing in no gods, seem dangerously unhinged. They ignore the evolutionary roots of altruism, and the potential of the human mind to construct a solid moral founding.

I think some of that view is a leftover from the cold war when the word communist was directly correlated to atheist. But, thinking people know that all communists aren't atheists and all atheists aren't communists (In fact, most (American) atheists probably are against communism)
I think it is also based on some passages in the Bible which essentially say something about those who reject God are fools and controlled by Satan.
Overall, it's a view based on ignorance.

You can be moral or immoral, kind or cruel, loving or unloving. So what do you care what we Christians think? Isn't atheism basically about not having to answer to someone with authority over you? So if you're good or bad it has no consequences for you does it?

Any person who has come to Christ *should* realize that all human beings (yep, each and every one of us) are born with a nature that is cruel, selfish, and hateful. Else why would we need a Savior?
Any Christian who believes that they are "good" while others are "bad" has never really read the Bible and has never understood what Jesus meant when He said we needed to be saved. Anything good that a Christian is comes from God, and not from themselves.
