ok! i really like some one, and i know you may think this is stupid and you also may think i'm ignorant and stupid for asking this but, i heard sum1 say that lust is a sin, and i know it is.....but i was wondering if i pictured or imagined sum1 that i liked snuggling up with them in bed (not doing anything nasty) if it was lust or any other kind of sin. is it?

Sin happens when you give in to your temptations. If you spend all your time dwelling on this person, then you are sinning by wasting your time. The Bible says to think on things that are noble and pure. Daydreaming is a normal thing, most people do it. But don't let it take over your life. Don't check out while at work or school or when you are driving. A few minutes of imagination before falling asleep is normal for most everyone.

I think it is a sin when you are married and you lust after someone other than your spouse. Not sure but I think that is the lust sin. You keep thinking about this person that way there is nothing wrong with it.

Lust is only a sin if you're religious. To me, it's a god-given gift - the most beautiful expression of love that two people can experience. I know you won't like this answer, but you asked...

Man, that's not even lust. Lust isn't a sin anyway, it's natural. Sin doesn't even exist. Lust in itself doesn't hurt anyone. Hurting someone is the closest thing to the idea of sin there is.

What does that "sum1" think of you? Worry about what's going on in the real world, but if you're mind isn't in the gutter you'll be a better person because of it!

mann that isn't sinful. god gave us the ability to show affection. snuggling with someone is just an example of that.

Its human. Trying to turn off those thoughts and impulses (or punishing yourself for having them) will make you a very unhealthy person (mentally at least)

I really wouldn't think so. But, just in case, pray and ask God instead of Yahoo Answers.
