I've switched leinholders and in the process the current bank inadvertently mailed me the TITLE.

if the title indicated the lein holder you do not...if the title does not indicate there is a lein u might..but i would check with the DMV...chances that the bank made the error to not report that they are lein holder is slim...again ask the dmv if your title has a lein.they should be able to tell you..dont ask the bank because if they made a mistake they will be quick to change it.....

That happened to me once, I wound up with two titles! I did have to pay for the car though!

No....just because they made a mistake does not mean you own the car.
