My son is 7 going on 8 and my daughter is 4 going on 5 and they both go to bed at 8:30 because I say so! Once in a while I will let it slide but not often because school is going to be starting in 2 weeks.

Here is the continuum based upon age and approx bedtime of my 3 kids:
4 = 7-8pm
6 = 8-8:30pm
8 = 8-9pm
10 = 8:30-9pm
12 = 9-10ish (sometimes later since I haven't seen the kids all day)
14 = 10ish (sometimes later since I haven't seen the kids all day)
If it slips later than 10pm then its understood that this is not typical. If the understanding is forgotten...then the 'parent-mode' comes out to remind.

My 7 and 8 year olds go to bed at 8 and my 13 year old goes to bed by 11. Not so strict during the summer and weekends. My 2 year old usually doesn't go to bed until I do.

My 7 year old goes to bed at 8:00 because he is grumpy the next day for school if he doesn't go to bed then. I do allow him to stay up later on weekends --when he can sleep in the following day!

Bedtime is between 8:30-9pm Wake-up time is between 9-10:30am She by no ability wakes up in the course of the nighttime, yet she purely has one 30 minute nap in protecting with day (I genuinely have a really curious and energetic one on my fingers) Crib considering she became 4 months old, we now and again co-sleep for naps if i'm more beneficial drained. oftentimes after we co-nap she will nap for as a lot as 2 hours. My daughter is going on 8 months old on the 4th.

I have a 14 yr.old, and he is always wanting to stay up past his bedtime, but I think 10:00 is late enough. Because, whether you want to believe it or not, YOU need your rest for the ability to be more alert in school, and in life. If you don't get your rest, you will have a hard time learning.

My 16 year old daughter goes to bed between 12-1 on weekends and 10-12 on school nights.
My 7 year olds go to bed between 10-11 on weekends and at 9 on school nights.
When my daughter was fourteen she was allowed to stay up until 12 on weekends, and 11 on school nights. What is your bedtime?

My daughter just turned 15 and she typically goes to bed by 10. during the school year she has to be out the door by 7 a.m. and in the summer she has chores to do in the morning, gymnastics practice most days in the afternoon and marching band in the evening.
She sets her own time for bed in the summer, but typically it is the same as during school, but she sleeps in later.

Well, my son is only one but he usually goes to bed anywhere in between 7:30 and 8:30 depending on the days activities and what we are currently doing at that time.
