I already know about eating good oils like olive oil, flax and fish oil. Is there anything else. And what's the scoop on ibuprofin, I heard it is a prostoglandin inhibitor. Does that mean the good prostaglandins too?

I suggest you get a massage on a regular basis that focuses on your neck and shoulders. I am not sure if you mean muscle knots or bone knots, but for muscle knots regular massage is great. Also, be aware of your posture. Are you tensing your shoulders and neck? How are you sleeping? A warm bath followed by icing with an ice pack for 10-15 minutes may help too.

Recovozon is herbal formula to recover after work outs, sickness and accidents. One guy drove off road and had bad neck injuries. This healed it. Lots of stories like this. Helps joints and lymphatic system.

Contains an herb for snake venom that paralyzes muscles. See this. Massages are excellent if you can afford them.
