Why do the rich eat crap?

Come on! Caviar- raw fish eggs, Quale's eggs, raw steak, steak with a raw egg on top...

Surely if you had the cash you would be eating sirlions and frickin' lobster?

A few of you seem to assume that I'm scum. I'll have you know that I enjoy some of the finer things in life, it's just that I don't see the point in paying through the roof for a tiny plate of uncooked food.

thats a good question! the higher up the exclusivity ladder you go it seems the emptier and stranger the plates contents become.

Pretty food is silly to me. I guess its human nature, the better you get at something or the more attention you get, the more you want to show off with stranger things?

Its like riding a bike.....learning with ya training wheels thats ya basic burgers right there then getting better till you flying down hill standing up....doing no hands, thats ya quails eggs on steak lol!

Because the 'rich' are not constrained by pathetic lower-class 'slob values' that dictate they have to eats fish fingers & beans with a side order of microwave fries. They try new things, and are very accepting of other cultures - rarely will you see a 'toff' spitting out a local 'delicacy' going "that's boggin' - gi' me wan o' them polo mints"!!



I'm NOT amazingly well-off, but I eat very little pre-packaged food - preferring instead fresh meats, fish & vegetables, which are usually eaten 'under-done' by most peoples standards. I LOVE very rare steaks, and fish 'on the point' / sushi, unusual meats, exotic fruits & expensive ingredients.

I don't eat certain foods because I don't like the texture / taste / health implications. But if I DID like steak tartare (have eaten it - not impressed) or oysters then I'd certainly be eating them!!

Rich ppl don't eat crap - and caviar is well nice with crackers - and Quails eggs are to die for as is quail itself! And be rest assured not all rich ppl eat raw meat or raw egg!

I'm rich and I eat 7 Big Macs for breakfast.
Kentucky fried Chicken family size for lunch.
Fish and chips with 4 slices of bread and butter for tea.
I usually skip supper, 'cos I'm slimminmg.
Now YOU can't tell me THAT's Crap.
Because I'm rich I can afford it, and you're just jealous!........x

yes and filet mignon and jumbo shrimp and king crab legs..........I think that is so ridiculous that they eat all that crap! They are just suckers! Some Jap puts a huge price tag on the S h i t and these idiots with money think it is "all that".

ha ha you make me laugh!! :)....yes i think its ridiculous myself...i love cookin and i love my food,i like respect at the table and manners,but these fancy resturant places your talking about they treat it like an art form i suppose..oh well wherever i eat i like the food to be top nosh a perfect art form of flavours and things that look shockingly amazing,otherwise i can just go home and do better myself :).
