why would god, if there was one, make a person with defects?
god is all a fairy tale so people can have hope when their life inevitably sucks..

If your friend reads braille, you might want to get him the autobiography of Helen Keller ("The Story of My Life"), unless he's already read it. Especially in her middle and later life, she was so full of the light of spirituality and courage, anyone, blind, deaf, or not would be amazed, enlightened and encouraged by her story/writings. She traveled the world and found joy in so many wonders that she "saw" and found happiness in being able to help others in her situation. I feel the presence of God everytime I think of her and her story.

You can NOT MAKE anyone feel the presence of God. A relationship with God is the most personal relationship a human can experience. It is rather arrogant of you to assume that your friend doesn't have such a relationship. And trying to force your religion upon anyone is ignorant, as well as RUDE!

We can't make anyone feel the presence of God. Only God can do that.
Whatever method he's accustomed to communicating, that is how I'd share the gospel with him.

What does not being able to see and hear have to do with the presence of God.....if you were really into your faith you would already know that.

Have your god pay him a visit. If he doesn't show up, inform him about the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and have a nice pasta meal with him to make him feel loved!

My answer is serious. Helen Keller learned a whole language, and she was blind and deaf. If you could find out that language, you might be able to teach it to your friend and witness to him.
