There are times when she just says "Hi" to me when I come home and ignore me for the rest of the day by paying more attention to my sister, but others days she looks desperate and scared and follows me everywhere I go. I look at the other side of the room and see the shadow of her standing still looking at me like a statue. She has been pretty weird. Days ago she was barking and yelping for no reason like never before.

Now she just jumped in my lap. This leather chair is pretty expensive and is getting full of her fur.

What is wrong with that dog? Is she sensing something strange in the environment?

Bobby D, do you have bonding times with your dog with peanut butter? Hmmm, it makes me wonder why you came up with that?

particial seizures ( you won't even know they are having one) can cause strange changes in behavior and cause hallucinations, violent behavior, fear, blindness, "fly biting," barking at "nothing," staring at "nothing," etc. not a bad idea to take her to her vet and have some basic bloodwork done as a start.

She's probably afraid you're going to get out the peanut butter again so you two can have some special "bonding time".

I don't know, but don't listen to people who say she feels guilty. Dogs can't feel guilty. That's a fact.

(Don't say "Oh but she knows what she's done, look at the look on her face!" All she knows is punishment or reward. If the look on your face says "You're about to get yelled at," of course she looks afraid.)

Animals have proven to be much more sensitive to environmental changes than we humans. take notice of any changes in yours or the dogs daily routine, see if there is something that may be disturbing to your dog.

know the differance between her guilty look and scared look? If she really looks scared she may not feel good. dogs don't understand what is wrong when they hurt. also 'yes. dogs sense things we know nothing about.

My guess is she has done something wrong and is feeling guilty. I'd check around the house to see if she's done something while you weren't home.
