I had an x-ray done on my lower back, and the doctor noticed little specks in the colon area. He asked me if I was taking iron. Could it be the iron in the vitamens?

no it may be long term deposits of the kind of food you consume or merely some metal ions sticking to your back if you cycle or work with machines, lettuce, rich green leafy vegetables result in such xrays also if you consume directly from aluminium packets or cans of colas , still it can turn up in xray
