A little odd, but just don't sleep on your back. This is a little odd, but not impossible. Weird things happen and are discovered all the time. .

you do alot of flipping around when you sleep. Especially when you're having a vivid dream- so you might be on your side and such when you start having the dream but you might flip onto your back during it. And pickles don't cause nightmares- dunno where you heard that. Nightmares are just caused by your brain, what you eat or what position your in won't affect whether you have them or not.

You maybe experiencing sleep apnea... where you stop breathing in your sleep when your on your back... the lack of oxygen to the brain can cause pple to sleep very restless and cause vivid dreaming ... you may want to consult a physician and have a sleep study done to rule this condition out because it can be very dangerous... then again maybe a shrink

OUr minds are a funny thing. Nightmares can be caused by numerous things and if you have them while sleeping on your back, it may be your body's way of expressing discomfort .

nope. the weight of your head is pressing your skull into your cerebral, causing brain malfunction. you should always try to sleep on one of your sides (change from left to right and vice versa each night).

agree. i sleep better on my side too.

it has been said that "foreign objects" wont be able to enter you if you sleep on side (rather than on your back). maybe its just a supersition.
