You're not married, so you're at liberty to go out with someone else and test your feelings. But if you confirm that you just don't have the same 'ol feelings for your current bf, do him and yourself a favor by finding a way of communicating this. You might say it's a marginal cheat to go out with someone else right now, but things happen and you need to find out. But it's a confirmed cheat if you decide that your bf is not right for you, but you fail to communicate that to him (in some tactful way) but allow him to think you are still his faithful gf over a longer period of time.

Here's a suggestion: Why not ask your boyfriend? If it were okay, you wouldn't feel it necessary to keep it from him, would you?

If you REALLY wanted to be with him, you wouldn't be thinking about cheating on him, so he obviously isn't the one for you. Cut him loose and move on, or at least be upfront with him that he is only a consolation prize until someone better comes along. He'll thank you for it in the end.

that's called being one foot in and one foot out of a relationship. It is not fair to the other person. My x did that to me with one of my socalled friends. Hedging your bets - gee, if it doesn't work out with the new one I can always go back to the old. Talk about devastating a relationship! so, be fair to him. Tell him gently that you think you both need a break. go experiment (be safe) and then if it doesn't work out, then you can always tell your former guy you'd like to try again. but don't be surprised if it is too late. but don't do it the way you're considering. it will be an absolute death knoll to your relationship.

Yes, don't be a chicken s.h,i,t. Just break it off with him. That wouldn't be nice to cheat on someone that you are supposed to care about. It's best to break it off. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Why let the ice cream melt while you have your fun. Save some for the rest of us. What's not good for you can be good for someone else. Idiot!!

It's never ok to cheat. If this is how you feel (and it's not uncommon) tell your bf that you want to seperate. It's not like he can make you stay with him. BUT remember...during this time he is free to see other girls too and you may not get him back even if you want him.

Its never okay to cheat on somebody for any reason, if you need to know if he is the right one for you.. tell him that you guys need a break for a month or two so you could meet someone else.. You'd figure out that time, dont hurt the poor guy for no reason.

yes that is very wrong and if u get caught then u are really screwed if u wanna be with him the best thing to do is discuss it with him or tell him that u wanna see other people for now or just to break up with him or something cause that aint fair to him or the other man that u are with

Cheating is never right or acceptable. Explain to your boyfriend how you are feeling. You might discover that he is feeling the same way. Then the two of you can decide how to handle your feelings.

No, if you have found a way to justify cheating then it's known as being made by the exception.
