They don't hate each other. Phil supposedly said something a couple of years ago that pissed Tiger off.

you only see them on the field of competition. In competition your opponent is never your friend. Its tough to deliver a beating to a friend whether you are boxing or playing golf. Top competitors are able to put friendly feelings aside for 5 or 6 hours when $1mil is at stake. After a round I'm sure they are more cordial. Tiger gets a bad rap on being friendly anyway at the Brit Open the same crap was going around about him and Nick Faldo because of Nick's commetator job on TV. Bookies even made 25-1 odds they wouldn't shake hands on the 1st tee (they shook). If you're all waiting on Tiger to come out and go ghetto it AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN - hes too refined and sophisticated.

Tiger hates Phil,because he is another competitor almost as good as he is. Tiger wants to be the centre of attention. He doesn't want anyone competing with him and being nearly as good as he is.
Phil hates Tiger because Tiger hates him. It's as simple as that. What goes around comes around.

Its all about who is the best, and since we all know that Tiger is better than Phil, Phil doesnt like it.

I don't think they do. It may seem that way on the course, but hey, they are the two best players out there. They are BOTH very, very competitive individuals. I think they BOTH respect each other a lot.

they don't hate eachother - the media tries to stir up the shitt by making a big deal out of everything - one this is for sure, though - they both do not like Vijay at all
