If you are an atheist, why does it matter? Why do you want your friend to believe, or prove something to him, when you don't? I can't tell you what to believe, or make you or anyone believe. You have to want something deeper in your heart, you have to be open to hear the Word of God written by men who followed Him. You have to look at the cross and imagine the being that took the weight of the world on his shoulders.....for generations to come as well, and took our sins as his own, that we could be forgiven and live with God. No. I can't make you believe. But if you watch a child being born, an animal nurse and care for it babies, the sun when it rises, the smell of fresh cut grass right after it rains...how could a person not believe?

i'm an atheist and if I unexpectedly went blind, deaf or ended up in a wheel chair, then there is not any way i'd probably think again my beliefs. If there grow to be a God then he must have executed it too me so why might want to i opt to be in touch with a being so cruel?

First of all there is only one God!!!!!!
You are just as blind and death as your friend is.
You just don't know because you can hear and see.
But you are only seeing and hearing what you want to.
I suggest you having a long talk with God.
Get your priorities straight first.
Then you can help your friend by praying for him and showing him the way.

The only thing you can do is love your friend and show him the love of God! Pray for him everyday that he will come to believe in God! Only God can get through to him!

He would still be able to percieve something, and would have a fantastic imagination and inner-life.
People have been communicating with blind&deaf people pretty well since Helen Keller's time...
I think you are just trying to be all tricky and trying to catch out those who have beliefs different from yours - aren't you the smarty one.

You can share the word of God with him by reading it to him. God's words are the light that brings sight to the spiritually blind.
and healing to the spritually sick. If you are blessed by being saved and born again. Dont keep that gift to yourself. Share it with someone that is spritually blind the way you once were. Your friend might be blind, but God sees that His soul can be perfect and flawless if he accepts Jesus as his savior.
Remember that ALL things are possible througgh Jesus.
Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
