No it is not, Ford dealers will take advantage of the limited supply and add on market adjustment fees. Wait a while to buy, and the price will go down. I would do like a previous poster, and buy a new Corvette making the same horsepower and performance for a lot less money, before I paid twice the sticker price for a GT500.

No, I have friends that bought a 99-04 GT that will out perform that Shelby. Pick up a 2002 for around $15k and then put another ten grand in there. You'd be surprised at what you can do.

NO! No non-exotic vehicle is worth over MSRP in my opinion! And thats not all some are paying for it, even 50k mark up has been reported! Soon the hype will die down and they will be available at MSRP.
The 500 hp at the crank, boils down to only 407 at the wheels found by dyno testing. After a good tune 450+ rwhp is possible though so its a great car for it's under $50k base MSRP IMHO.

No. Wait 6 to 9 months and save thousands off the MSRP. Happened with 03 and 04 Cobras. Any Ford Dealer that does this are crooks in my book.

Its the same as the Viper was , a viper went at one time 125,00 and up now one can even geta n RS for about 50gs. One thinks the Shelby GT as awsome as it is may see the same fate. Id say if yoiu love the GT its worth it. If looking to resell some day..................... Hmm Id think about investing in it.
Hope this helps

Look, all mustangs are worth buying if you have the money. But being able to drive around and have everybody just lust after the set of wheels your driving is well worth the 25gs.

Yes, but I would rather pay less knowing that you could be getting 500 hp for under 45 grand.
