If you pray the rosary, you are not a Christian. You are worshiping Mary and saints as you repeat worthless ramblings over and over. Jesus is said to have claimed that he is the only way to the father. Catholics are just plain ignorant. I was a Catholic until I realized that the Bible is not the word of God, but merely a flawed man-made book written by questionable individuals with their own personal agendas.
My favorite prayer is the Pledge of Allegiance.

My grandfather, who was a minister, made up this prayer that we say at every meal. We teach it to friends and new family as well:
For things we like to eat,
Thy loving gift of food,
We thank thee Lord today,
For Thou art kind and good.
Bless all our loved ones, Amen.
The funny part is, the rhythym of the very last line is exactly the same as "shave and a haircut, 2 bits"!! My mom used to scold us for that, then laugh just the same!

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
In Christ's Name I pray, Amen.†

That's as silly as asking "What was your favorite conversation with your father?" because, despite what they taught you, that is exactly what prayer is. A private conversation between you and your heavenly father.

"Thy name is my healing, O my God, and remembrance of Thee is my remedy. Nearness to Thee is my hope, and love for Thee is my companion. Thy mercy to me is my healing and my succor in both this world and the world to come. Thou, verily, art the All-Bountiful, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise."

When I really mean it like never before. by the way, "poor sinner" sounds like somebody's done a good job of telling you alot of lies about you. God didn't make junk.

When I'm just praying straight from my heart. I don't need a script to talk to God when He is my best friend.
