you are halfway there when you say you believe. After you pass onto the other side the first thing that will be checked is your faith and if nothing is there,,,,you have no options. Depends on the sin bro....If the sin is bad enough then of course you will not go into heaven but will be punished and the level of punishment depends on the sin. Not all people get into the gates of heaven but at the same time they do not go to hell either.

If a person willingly keeps on sinning then their salvation is in jeopardy! But if a person believes and confesses their sins their salvation is sure! Do not get me wrong I do not mean that if you die and have unconfessed sin that you will go to hell! What I do mean is that God has saved you and as long as you believe when you die you will go to heaven! We are all sinners and it is almost impossible not to sin! Christians are saved by grace and should not continue in sin! But when we do sin we have an advocate--Christ Jesus--who will forgive us!
Remember, Jesus was the only person who walked this earth that did not sin--He was fully God and fully man!

If only those without sin would go to heaven then we'd all be condemned to hell.We ALL sin.It is human nature.
You sound like you've been raised Baptist.I was raised Baptist, and that's what I've always been told.
Shake loose your shackles, and make peace with God on your own terms.

it says in the Bible we each sin at least 7 x's a day.

And in order to get into heaven all you have to do is except Jesus Christ as your savior.

He really is a great God.... he knows we are not perfect and he is a forgiving god as well

If you believe that your sin will be forgiven, it will be forgiven. If you believe God loves you so much that He will forgive your sin, He will. If you still have doubts about going to heaven eventhough you believe, I dont care!

Definitely. You have faith and that is all that matters. We ALL sin. Every one of us. And to get to heaven it is important to do two things. Accept Christ as your saviour and make an honest effort to live as Christ lived. You will falll short on the second one but that is OK because we all do.

depends on how you sin. .

is it one sin?. . or a pattern that suggests you don't mind sinning and refuse to cut it out of your life?

That's the difference. .

if you refuse to quit sinning or cut a certain type of sin out of your life simply because you dont' want to, then you don't really believe.

Believing includes believing that God doesn't allow willful disobedience.

God looks at your heart and knows that you want to do right by Him, that He will judge on not what you do or don't do. Sin may not be what you think as long as you love God and others you are fulfilling His will. Loving someone means that you won't do anything to hurt them ya know steal, lie, cheat, murder etc....
