You're going to have struggles with any church. Especially with the fakenessfactor. The girl can make it tough and all that, you can move but it'll take time to build new relationships and not feel like moving on to another place.
Don't church hop, that'll make matters harder for you. Remember church is like a family, sometimes dysfunctional and there are some femily members we just don't get along with, but you must strive to keep Christ the focul point in all your dealings in and out of church
Remember you there to give and then to receive. Serve the Lord where ever but keep that heart of service.

I gave up on churches and religion. After all I was forced to study the history of churches and their congregations and found out that every established church there is another being made because they seperate. Its all man made. I belive in God and have faith in Him and his Son and the Holy Spirit. The first religion to ever built a congregation and a building (a church) was the Catholics, then someone named Martin Lutheran came along (not king jr.) and started a new congregation because the catholic church was failing because so many fathers and pope dudes were doing what they werent suppose to do. so then came the Lutherans. and so on. (someone esle came along and saw the errors and seperated and started a new congregation). i was raisesd as a Seventh Day Adventist but then my parents got into another religion that was seperating from the church called La Vara Del Pastor (The Shepards staff (his big stick) ). they are the ones from Waco Texas, but dont confuse them with the ones that got burnt down by the police. (now that was a person seperating from this religion) and so on. it doesnt stop so I keep no religion, anyways no one can be perfect so then why follow a pastort I dont trust? I dont know just do what you think is right.

Andre you need to find a church that you are happy and feel comfortable in, I can't recommend any because I don't know where you are at, take every other week off from your Church and visit another one until you find one you are comfortable in, that will keep you in contact with your Church and give you options, it may also give the rest of the congregation a chance to miss you, including the girl you like. I might also suggest you try different denominations.

you attend church to get the word of God: if you feel your pastor is not preaching the true word to you then yes change Church's but remember we are not suppose to be like our pastor we are supposed to be like Christ. The bible say that "whenever two or more are gathered in my name so shall i also be" get some friends together that may not be happy with their church and praise and worship the Lord together until you can find a church that is leading you in the right direction.

Remember love God and others, that is all you are required to do. God will look at your heart and know that you want to do right by Him, if you feel led to change or change because you're changing then by all means do so. You don't want to linger on that "speed hump" that you can't quite get over. Maybe some time away may help but don't let the people discourage you. Live and love Life!

You need to go where you feel most comfortable. Going to church is for you, and you need to get the most out of it as possible. Church shop for a bit, and see what you can find. The number one thing you can do is to pray about it. I don't think that there is any church out there where everything is perfect, but you will find what you need.
Good luck!

I think you know the answer and it's yes, you should change the church you attend. Try attending different churches in your area until you find one where you feel welcome, the church "attitude" fits with your values and the other members aren't putting on an act. Good luck!

Going to church is supposed to be an uplifting experience. Why would you want to stay in a church that depresses you and makes you feel bad? Be smart and leave.

I hope the Biblical teaching was not a waste of time too.
IF you need a new church I have a great list!
Email me your city and state and I will send you
a couple of names and addresses to check out.
You need to be comfortable in a church, but remember-
It's all about GOD.

Sure visit a few others and see if any of them feel OK. Staying somewhere that you feel is wrong may lead to total inactivity and not attending any church.
