I just received my blood and urine test results. Can someone (preferably in the medical field) please explain what a 'low chd risk factor is' 2.61ratio, and what is a 'small leukocyte esterase'.

Originally the tests were done to see if I had any thyroid problems but the technichian said 'so far so good' and the doctor wasn't there.

Are there any doctors on yahoo answers who might be able to help with this question? Thanks.

Leucocyte esterase - see reference below - suggests a small number of white cells in the urine - may need a recheck as it might indicate an infection
CHD Risk factor - can be looked up in various places on the web - a blood test alone would only give part of the picture as you need to look at lifestyle e.g smoking and physical measurements e.g. age, sex and blood pressure.
The ratio mentioned is likely to be total cholesterol/HDL. 2.61 is a good figure - see the weblink below.
