Hey guys,
I have been seeing this guy for a few months, he's lovely but he has a vast collection of porn and I think he'd rather watch people have sex than actually do it himself! I am not a prude, I've asked if I can watch it with him, seeing as he likes it so much, but he refuses to watch it with me. I have a high sex drive and am quite adventurous in bed, but he won't try anything new, he refuses to do any foreplay. I am always the one to initiate sex, and suggest new things. He seems embarrassed when I suggest doing some of the things he likes watching on the porn videos. He even doesn't want blow jobs because it embarrasses him! What should I do? Is there anything I can do to bring him out of himself a bit? I really do like him but I think maybe we're incompatible sexually.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Would love it if my wife would watch some porn with me. He sounds like he's embarassed about it. Maybe you should let him catch you watching some porn and pleasuring yourself. He might open up a bit more.

Ok I'll be the only one to give you serious info. He needs to see a therapist. I think there is something a lot deeper going on here. You've tried everything you could and he's still not interested in sex. Do you know if he was like this with past girlfriends? Maybe he was abused as a child. I say this because he's detached to human experiences (hence, watching movies by himself.) I don't think he's gay like some of the people said above me. Cause gay dudes like sex and blowj*bs! Something has happened in his life that he needs to get over. Try and talk to him more about it. Suggest that he see a doctor. And if that doesn't work, move on to someone that will appreciate you.

I like to watch porn, and even better with a lady. Your BF has a problem and needs help, did you ever think he may be gay?
a guy who passes up a head job has to have the lady start things is not good, maybe he likes to be dominated.

Sounds like he is a victim of the information age and all that has become available as a result thereof. Do you know somebody older who he respects that can talk to him and you and bring about a little awareness and moving forward? He is not being healthy but I see something in him as I feel you do. how the hell can someone refuse a *******, i just don't get it! anyways i have a vast collection of porn as well, but damn i'm just a freak in bed, always up for new stuff. like the **** they do in the movies. but you should maybe sit down and talk to him sometime. if it won't work, i'll be here waiting

walk away... if he can't watch porn with you, there is something wrong with him. you've only known him a few months, you don't have too much invested in him, find someone who will be intimate with you, more than just sex, because there is a certain intimacy in watching porn and he isn't sharing it with you.

I think either he's gay or he dont know whats good for him or I'd be moving on finding me a new man that loves sex.
