What should I do, I have PE everyday and it hurts me bad. I dont know what to do at all. Please HELP ME!

and also I am very sore and out of shape, how can i get inn better shape besides my everyday PE classes? and how can I get the sorness to go away

Where exactly does your back hurt? Do this test: lay flat on your back and lift one leg up in the air to where it is perpendicular to your body, then do the same to your other leg. If it hurts severly with either leg or both, then you may have a ruptured disc in your back that is going to require surgery. I've had two of these surgeries, once when I was 17 and then again when I was 19. The surgeries aren't bad...you're in the hospital less than 24 hours afterwards and can still move around and walk fine afterwards...you just can't lift anything. Hopefully, it is just a pulled muscle which will only get better with rest. Go get a Dr.'s note so you don't have to participate in P.E. The best way for you to get in shape is to do heavy cardio with a weight regime. The weight will start to melt off. After a few weeks, you'll hit a wall where it'll be very hard to lose anymore weight. Don't get discouraged, suck it up and turn up the workouts. It'll be worth it. You've had this problem for three months, which may indicate some serious tearing, or, you are re-using the same muscle group over & over and healing has not been able to take place. Check and make sure that your bed isn't too soft or too hard. Arrangement of pillows under your head can hinder. Both can help contribute to continued strain.

This is what I would do.

You need to begin by laying, backside down on a soft mat and just tell your body to fully and completely relax. Just like a meditation.

You would then make very small physical movements until you feel the "pinch" of the pain and HOLD until the pain subsides. I do what I call a "clock" movement with a full circle from my hip up to over my head. That's a good measurement of locating where the pain is coming from. Make a further movement HOLD, let the pain subside and move to the next point. Do this over and over, very very slowly. Take deep breaths, relax, and let the air out slowly. Treat with warm pads. Treat with over the counter salves. If it still continues without ANY progress, see a registered/licensed massage therapist who specializes with pain in the neck/shoulder/back area. If you follow through with my initial suggestion above, and do it for 1-2 days, it should begin clear up unless you've done some very bad tearing of the muscle or tendon. At that point, you may need to see a doctor.

Your second question concerns exercise in general. This is my suggestion...(As always, warm up before & after any exercise routine - a treadmill or stationary bike is good!)

I would suggest that you set up training under the direction of a professional trainer, independent from a general employee at a gym. You need to have someone who has studied the physics and physiology involved so that you do not overwork muscle groups unintentionally. [Once you get some good exercise "habits" set up, you can move on to exercising on your own. This is just laying down a good foundation]. There are also ways to build up in specific steps so that the maximum effects can be achieved. Stretching is also imperative to integrate into your routine, to avoid possible tearing of tissue or cartilage around the joints. A gentle, slow pace is more effective than a fast pace because with "quick" you can open yourself up to injury because your body mechanics [how your body is balanced] may be off. By going very slowly with movements (such as with weight lifting), you can involve more of adjoining muscle groups and the ENTIRE muscle gets worked out, rather just at the beginning and the end (trying to bypass some of the discomfort...)of the tissue.

Drink lotsa water before, during, and after your workouts to purge your body of waste materials expelled by the muscles. No diuretic drinks like sodas, beer, tea, alcohol. Diuretics remove more water from your body than what you consume, thereby dehydrating yourself in the process. Vitamin drinks & bars are good to keep up your energy and avoid fried foods.

Be smart. Don't be in such a hurry. The results will stay with you longer.

don't do PE

I pulled a muscle in my lower back 14 years ago, it caused my spine to twist, and I still have trouble from time to time.

back pain always takes a long time to heal. Even though I said don't do PE - don't baby your back too much either.

I was on bed rest for a year and when I started doing anything I felt like an old man. It took me a long time to rebuild htose muscles that weren't used.

OK ~*Lady J*~...
Listen to me, or read what I am saying k?
Lie flat on your back in the floor with your knees bent...
Do what's called pelvic tilts (hunch your tootie to the ceiling)
hold for 10 seconds each time....
Do 10 of these...
Then take your left knee with your left hand & pull it toward your chest... Just stretch the leg, you do not want it to hurt K?
Then do the same on the right side...
Do 10 of these on each side....
Then take both knees in your hands & pull your legs into your chest...
DO 10 of these also...
Like I say, just pull them in until you feel the pull...
It is important to stretch it out slowly as to stretch the sciatic nerve out...
Do these every chance you get & I PROMISE your back will get better...
& after it gets better keep doing them for a while to strengthen your back even more...

you need to see a doctor ..it won't go away on its own.... and you need to start exercising daily or at least 5 times a week for 30 min..cardio..get the heart rate up--sweat..you will feel better after the first week or so..trust me..it ain't easy..but you have to do it for yourself..

you dont do anything. no workouts no exercises full stop. sounds like you have a deep pull so total rest. for at least 2 - 3 weeks

hey that isn't a pulled muscle... you might have a damaged nerve but a pulled muscle should have already healed go see a doc about it
