Never to late. I trained a guy in his 70's to a black belt level.
Go and look at some local clubs. Most will offer a free lesson to see if you'll like it.

Not at all. I was in college and in my twenties when I started learning it. At any age it's good.

Remember Bob Barker, from the tv show "The Price Is Right"? He was taking Karate lessons from Chuck Noris and he was in his late 60's or early 70's at the time.

It's never too late to learn how to protect yourself plus it's good to help you learn to focus better.

I know of a 99 year old master who was so fast and calm when attacked by some big monster man that the young dude didn't know what hit him. 17 is way, way a good age to start.

no way we just signed up a 40-someting year old to our class. it's never too late to start learning. the oldest person we signed up for our class was a retired gentleman that was in his 60's or so. good luck!

I am 43 and started studying kempo a little over a year ago. there is a 53 year old man and 50 year old lady in my dojo. 17 years old is not old at all to start studying. Good luck to you.

No way!. My sensei started at about that age and he's a 4th degree now (around his mid 30s).

nope i do karate and theres a 67 year old lady and my master is 50 years old
