Was it by mom or dad? What age did it stop?

Got my rear end tore up many times as a child. Now that I am grown I think it done me a lot of good. I have never gotten into trouble with the law nor ever done drugs. I have respect for others and their property. My parents put the fear of God in me through spankings. I turned out fine. As a matter of fact, all people I know that got spankings are good respectable people. More kids today need a good butt spanking.

Hi I'm a male from the UK.
I was behaved fairly well as a kid but there were times when I acted up and was naughty. I was punished either with non-physical punishments but I was sometimes spanked too for bad misbehaviour. I never received a spanking past the age of 12 and most of the time Mum spanked me and used her open hand. The last time Mum bared my bottom for a spanking was during my last year at primary school when I was 10 I think. Once I started secondary school (year 7, age 11) I only got one maybe two spankings before they stopped but they were given over my undies.

i ca nnot speak for everyone buy i was and in the long run or i ssould say as i got older i have learned to appriciate those bare bottom spankings they are not given just for the sake of being cruel but to teach you a lesson in the long run so if you do as you are told right away and stop mouthing off the spankings will be few and far in between they were mostly by my mom and they were stopped at age 13. so behave yourself and be respectful and that buttom wont get burned so much.

I was by my dad more times then I wish to count. By hand, belt and switch cut from a tree. Bare bottom before I started grade school so that stopped around 5ish. After that It was where ever the hand belt or switch landed. Stopped at age 14 because he moved out.

i was 12, it was by my mom, daddy never spanked us kids, as it was against Native American custom to discipline kids physically. I personally don't beieve that, because kids need disciplined, whether they are Native American or not. I told my mom if she slapped/ spanked/ hit/ cussed me again, I would tell Child Protective Services, and it stopped. But the emotional/ mental abuse did not stop. I had to have counselling alot and i don't really spank my kids, but i am a yeller, and i tend to ground/ take away stuff when they get out of line, which isn't often!

the spankings had stopped when i was 8. my older brother was a royal marine and one night when i was 12 i had done something wrong i cannot rember what it was any way he pushed me on to the bed in my room and pulled down my footy shorts and then my undies. he slapped my bare bottom about 10 times at least he told me when he spanked my bottom why he did it.
i rember my bottom stinging like mad. i never stepped out of line again.

Never bare butt. BUT OH the spankings from my dad.
He stopped when my sister was about 10 or 11.
He (LOL) ended up hitting the wall instead of her!!! LOL His hand swelled up for WEEKS after!!! LOL He got his due! Pain for pain! LOL

both my parents did it. but my mom was just to keep me in line and well my dad crossed the line on the whole thing.
he was still hitting me about a year b4 i moved out of his house and i moved out at 19!
i do spanke my children if its a last resort.........but never bare bottoms and just once!!

I totally agree w/ resi6, not enuff kids get their butts whipped & it's cause the state tells parents it's not ok anymore (then they grow up bad like kids I know already headed for the slammer) oh no, getting your butt whipped doesn't feel good, those cold hard steel studs sticking out on bare skin, yeah, it definately made me think 2ce before i did anything wrong. My dad made my mom slap us 1, from then on Mom refused (she was as much of a baby as us) so it was Dad. He showed NO MERCY. Never stopped till we were 18.

i did.
my dad did it most of the time after my mom told him to.
some times with his hand, sometimes with a belt. when my mom did it, it was with a hair brush.
it stopped about the time that i had already gotten in trouble for everything and i didn't want another butt lashing if i did something stupid again. probably about 12
