A sty in the eye is more annoying to look at. But because there is no physical pain, I'd have to say a tounge ulcer. They are very painful, and uncomfortable.

i have 2 ulcers on my tongue right now.i get them wen i get nervouse.but i dont think they r worse than a sty on ur eye cuz that sounds really gross.ulcers dont hurt that bad as long as u dont eat salt.they also go away faster.i would rather be in pain than look bad.ewww......

I think a sty-eye. Even though it's less painful, it makes me feel worse throughout the day knowing it's there wondering if people are staring. lol

Tongue ulcer. a stye on the eyelid is annoying but I image if you had a tongue ulcer you'd keep playing with it with your tongue.. like you do when you have a tooth ache...

How about oozing ulcers in your eyes? I never eat the pus-filled ones, tastes like anchovy paste. Ugh.
