Generally you begin to lose fitness after about a week. It goes faster the more the highly trained you are.

3 - 4 days, once in a while, won't be too bad, but if you do it too much, your gains will probably be compromised.

depends on what level you are at, but think of it this way, how long does it take you to get in shape? it takes similar amounts of time to get out of shape.
