There is no such thing as god. It is an illusion that people made up so that there wouldn't be that "great unknown".
Think about history... The Ancient greeks and romans had many gods, ones for weather, the sun ect. but now we know how weather and the sun works, and we know that there are no sun gods or anything. In less than a thousand years, we will probably all have evidence that there is no god.
As for where we go after death... I don't know. There may be an afterlife that we recirculate and live again... who knows??? only those who are dead, and they would have a pretty hard time telling us.

God is just a word in which human's give meaning to. The word God has been typically used to describe the creator of all that is. Every single ancient interpretation from Egypt to Mexico to India, from Buddhism to The Hindu religion to the 3 mosaic religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam all say that God is actually the real reality. That we exsist in a plain of exsistance that is less than the truth. God is an Infinite Eternal reality! A dimension beyond the physical, God therefore is not a created thing but the single creator of all that is. It is said in all of these religions that God is One and by seperating and interacting within It self, God basically created all that is. God is often called the True Self or Ultimate Reality by many of these ancient interpretations. In other words we and everything else are just thoughts within the Ultimate reality or True Self. In fact if you read Albert Einstien or Isaac Newton, the two most respected scientists in history they both died believing exactly this. That all things are mearly thoughts interacting within the Infinite God. Modern physics also gives us the same picture take a look at the Theory of Quantum Physics, it gives us essentially the same picture. A single Universe of Energy interacting with Itself ! God is limitless energy, the ancients used to often say God is Infinite Spirit. Same thing! The beginning of creation is said to have began when God or the Infinite realized Itself or became aware of Itself. This happened by inner contraction, a process of hiding and revealing. Consciousness is the base and beginning of creation not physical things!!! The ancients were far more knowledgeable then most people today give them credit for! God is real and God is everywhere!!!!!

God has always been there, it's hard to comprehend, but he has, there is no way that such complexity could have come about other than God. "From the time the world was created people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made they can clearly see His invisible qualities-- His eternal power and divine nature, so they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God."

no, sorry. there is no god.
honestly- have you read the bible? it's so dumb- i mean honestly! anybody who tells you not to "Eat of the Tree of Knowledge" and to "blindly have faith" is pulling your chain.
why shouldn't you question religion, when you can question everything else?
you're an intelligent girl.
ps) read the comment on evolution. evolution has been proven in many studies- it is a fact. btw, darwin never said that men came from apes. and did you know that he and another scientist doing independent studies on opposite ends of the globe proposed the same theory of natural selection in the same year (but Darwin's was more through, so the other guy let him take the credit).

Only in the minds of believers.
The Bible has the great cop-out explanation for your second question: "I am the Alpha and the Omega....." etc. And the believers rejoice, for as we all "know," if it's written in the Bible, then it's true. (rolls eyes)

i think the whole concept of believing in god is that he's the end all and be all...that alpha and omega thing. no one made him. he just is and always has been. he's older than time and did not have to be created or set into motion. that's the whole faith/belief part of it.
