1st of all, these are your parents - not your friends. They can become your friends later in life (like after college) but not before. Until then you are their little baby, and a discovery such as this is going to create a flashback of all the times they questioned a choice in raising you and is also going to have them second guess thew freedoms they have allowed you so far. All that being said, you have a very special opportunity to demonstrate how mature you have become by confronting this issue head on. But before you do that, you need to think about why you were watching that content, and how you feel about it. If I were your mother I would be concerned about your treatment of and respect for women. (i am of course, assuming it was heterosexual content - if not, then I would have several other suggestions for how to handle it) If I were your father I would be concerned about whether you are acting out these behaviors with anyone. Ultimately, it is very important that you are honest with your parents. Are you watching because you have questions? Are you in a relationship and considering having sex yourself? It can be a difficult topic to discuss with your parents, but it would be more difficult to pretend it didn't happen and to wonder everytime they said no to something that it was related to that.

Hah! It's not going to make them love you less. At 15 you're curious, so I hope that they were able to sit down and have a good chat with you about what you might have seen. Sex videos can give you the "mechanics" of the sex act, but your parents will be able to discuss sexuality with you and what is and is not acceptable practices within your family. As for an apology? Mom, dad, I'm sorry that you found out what I watched last night. I didn't mean to upset you, and I'm sorry. That's it! What else can you really say. If they're too embarrassed to talk to you about it, then that might be one reason why you wanted to see for yourself!

this is what I always told my kids, if you do something and you knew that it was wrong all along, then be the kind of person that will stand there and tell the truth about it, with your head held high, and accept the consequences of the thing you did. and yes! I mean it when I say...tell the TRUTH. Curiosity! they both know what that means. (Their 19, 18 & 14 now) Unless your parent are some type of weirdos...they will listen if you talk to them and tell them why you did it. And it wouldn't hurt for you to assure them that it won't happen again...and don't be lieing when you say it. They love you more than you know! God Bless. It'll be alright.

parents were kids too once.... and did the same kinds of things, and had they a thing like a computer, I am sure it would have been along these same lines. Be honest with them though its embarrassing, you would be surprised how relieved a parent would be if the worst thing their 15 year old son was doing was sneaking a lil porn!

You can apologize to them, but I'd like to know just how you're going to explain it away. You had to know that they wouldn't like it, so the best thing would have been, not to be on it.

You dont have to do ANYTHING. Let the time go by, the embarassment for both of you will die down. Trust Me, they KNOW about this, they just dont admit it. They did it too. You cannot be punished for this, they always knew...all along...even now.

Apologize and just tell them you were curious. Next time don't get caught.

We're teenagers, we are going to make mistakes! Imagine the stuff they did when younger!!! LoL. Calm down, and when you do go down and joke about it, ask them if they were ever caught...

Thats pretty serious. You are just going to have to apologize and give them some time to think about what they are going to do.
