The easy answer is to speak to your recruiter about a waiver. Many things can be waived. Some can not. It sounds like you have been doing that.

Another avenue of approach is to ask your congressman to assist you. Bear in mind that no one in the military would make any entries in your personnel jacket that indicate you have political connections. However, there is word of mouth. That can be worse because you have no document to prove false.

A third avenue is to develop a skill set that increases your value to the military.

A potential infantryman with asthma really is a liability in the field.

A potential recruit that can accurately translate Farsi, Urdu, Mandarin Chinese or Arabic is potentially more valuable and could perhaps be granted the necessary waivers.

A derivation of that route is to go to college, get a BSRN (Registered Nurse) degree and ask for a direct commission or a guarantee of OCS (Officer Candidate School).

Alternatively go to college and then medical school, dental school or law school. Then apply for a direct commission.

I can not guarantee any of these will work.

Another means of getting "in" is to become a GS civilian employee of the military. I suggest you specialize in repair of medical equipment, development of prostheses, heavy equipment and powerplant repair or a specialist in a medical field.

As you can see, you have some options. How creative and adaptable are you?

If that is what you want, find a way.

If you were not medically qualified at 18. Whats changed at 25? You Either meet the standards or you don't? You failed to say what the problem is? You may check with a recruiter about applying a wavier if it's not serious.

What is the condition? Is it temporary, something that causes disability? You might be held up because of one doctor, if that's the case, contact your congressmans office and find out if you can get an examination somewhere else. They might give waivers for your condition but if a particular doctor is an asshole he wont accept them. If you have any contacts on active duty maybe you can contact them, or get their names and write them letters, such as the CO of ft jackson. Some active duty officers might be impressed by your perserverance and maybe try to personally help you. If its not possible at all because of something like blindness, try contacting your state militia. Or if its temporary like weight thats easily corrected. Good luck to you and let me know how it turns out

It just depends on what the medical reason is. You might be able to get a waiver for the problem.

If you watch only one conspiracy documentary ever, make it this one. This just might be the best introductory video out there. Understand that every claim made in this is fact, not opinion, no matter how wild it sounds. It's all easily verifiable through mainstream news archives and public documents.

may God help your soul. In our world where people are giving their life for charity, erradicating poverty and war, adopting the orphans, and putting smiles to peoples face to make life more meaningful in a positive way, you are thinking starting a war.

of all profession, you want to be a human killer; a killing machine.

may God help your soul
