Real love involves a reciprocal sharing of admiration, affection, validation, honor, & respect. Instead of looking for a payback it concerns itself with co-operation. There are even times when ones own wants are sacrificed for the good of the one you love.
Because love is what gives us a sense of wholeness. It expands our self-awareness of aspects of our identity that lie closest to our heart.
Love validates & affirms your sense of belonging, your own potential abilities, & your sense of gender. By affirming these key aspects of your personality, love actually makes you feel valued, worthy, & significant. When you feel loved, you feel complete because you feel fully appreciated for being yourself.

i believe love means caring about someone SO MUCH that u want the best for them, no matter what cost it is to you...u put their happiness above yours.
now, if u love someone who doesn't love u back this way, ur in for a lot of heartache. u have to keep searching, and keep looking for someone who is Willing and Able to do the same for you, so that u can work on a Growing, loving, trusting relationship. it does take time, it does take work, which is why it is essential to find someone who is up for the challenge! :)
remember, if u work on urself, and make sure u are confident in ur abilities to be a Good Man, a Good Boyfriend, a Good Husband, then you are perfectly right in expecting to have a Good Woman, a Good Girlfriend, a Good Wife. therefore, if someone treats u badly, or causes negativity in ur life, it will be an indicator that something needs to change, or u need to work together to fix it. if that person cannot or will not work on it with you, then she is not the right person. even if there is love, u still have to be able to use that love to Fuel your commitment. a relaitonship takes work, but the kind of work that is Worth it, Deserving, Appreciated, and you know that person is willing to do the same for you. your future wife is someone Special, NOT easy to find! therefore, keep up ur expectations for urself as a man, for ur partner, and for your relationship, and remember to communicate, and u will find something that is so worth it, you will never doubt that the relationship can get thru Anything. ~

There are many different kinds of love; familial love, friendship love, agape love, eros. These are all "flavors" if you will of love, which at its essence, I think, is a feeling of interpersonal connection or communion between people.

There is no real meaning to love. It just is what it is. Love is magical and when you find that person you just know. You can feel it in their eyes, in their laugh, in their touch, and in their kisses and you just hope that they can feel it in you too.

Some one who knows how to cherish you, hold you hand, honor you, respect you, admire you, willing to put up with your flaws, over look your shortcomings and love you anyway. It is a two way street however.
