I'm not sure. I can tell you my experience though to help you decide. I started rebounding around the 1980s and gotten out of the habit now with other activities I'm doing instead. The first one I had is no longer made. After I couldn't replace the springs that were breaking anymore I bought a Rebound-Air from the Carter folks about 3 or 4 years ago. This rebounder has plastic covering over the metal that is attached to the frame and the mat. I have been having those plastic coverings breaking but the mechanism is still holding because of the metal that was under the plastic. That's the best I can do to explain what I found wrong with this brand. It still works okay though. Kind of a cheapo design I say. Another thing I found to adjust to with my new rebounder was that the height was higher than my old one and when I'd step up to get on it I would hit my foot because I was used to a lower height to step to. When I wanted to get another one I looked it all over and decided to go with this one since I thought that company would know what they were doing since Al Carter wrote about and tried to sell people on the benefits of rebounding.
