Right now I go between pinot noir and merlot... sometimes cabernet sauvignon. I'm always looking for something new to try. Anyone?

I love Italian Brunellos - made from Nebbiolo grapes...

French Pinots are great - but too costly for a daily booze

Rieslings are versatile, depending on its classification, it could be the best white for the newest drinker to a connosieur.

For dinner, I love Chianti. It's dry and has very little aftertaste. And of course, Cabernet Sauvignon. It's a safe bet, because there are around 7 or 8 grape varieties. As oposed to Petite Sirah.

Generally, I like a nice tempranillo. These wines tend to be well balanced and not too big on the body and not too overwhelming to drink.

Most tempranillo's come from Spain but are found in California vineyards and can be blended with other varieties.
