For pork ribs, I season with garlic powder, pepper, accent, season salt and pour a can of beer in. I then bake them for about an hour before putting on the pit.....delicious!!!!! Also, a great marinade I have found for steak is Dale's Seasoning. It is a liquid seasoning I found in the steak sauce section. For beef or pork roast, try McKormick Pot Roast Seasoning in a packet with a baking bag. Either use the bag or use in crock pot.

This marinade is one I made up out of flavors that I like. Give it a try and chances are you will too. 1/2 can of beer
mashed garlic
salt
pepper
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce (kikoman is my favorite)
Hot sauce (not salsa) any kind
Mix thoroughly pour over meat and let sit in refrigerator for a few hours. Then cook meat.

for the bbq, sometimes italian dressing, add garlic and pepper. sometimes i just use beer, hate to waste it but it works. when you bake or roast you shouldnt need a marinade if you do it on low heat. if it turns out tough, buy a better cut of meat.

Honestly, the best, and easiest, is bottled zesty italian oil based salad dressing. You don't have to get the name brand kind either. Great on chicken, beef, even the toughest cuts of beef, if you marinade overnight!
